Manager, City of Pittsburgh (Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs)

Feyisola Akintola is a creative, an active community member, and the manager of the new Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs.

Born in Nigeria, Feyi and her family immigrated to Stone Mountain, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta in 1999. She grew up loving science and culture, and, as the oldest of six children, understood the value of community leadership from a young age.

As manager of the Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs, she runs the Welcoming Pittsburgh Initiative which is centered on the intentional inclusion of our immigrant and refugee neighbors to government, services, and opportunities.

Feyi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of West Georgia, a dual Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Sustainability from Chatham University and a Women in Leadership certificate from Coro Pittsburgh.
