Sharon initiated WQED’s multifaceted Future Jobs initiative in 2018, and continues to be involved in this project in collaboration with WQED TV Production and WQED Education teams. She is working with a wide array of organizations representing the region’s employers, education/training organizations, and community partners to gather information about the region’s employment and job training opportunities. She has a B.A. from Allegheny College and an M.B.A. from Pitt’s Katz School of Business. Prior to WQED, she worked in publishing and media including, most recently, the Pittsburgh Business Times.
